To die at once a thousand deaths
To quench a bleeding sea
To fight and maim and kill and die
To make but one man free
To suffer for a deep belief
Endure indignity
To bleed and writhe with no relief
To make but one man free
To mock a tyrant to his face
Defend Thermopile
Ill offer sword and shield and soul
To make but one man free
For Sparta stood up to a god
Refused to bend the knee
And so, by God, Ill give my life
To make but one man free!

My face is my fortune...That's why I'm totally broke!
I've claimed Tasuki over at the =bishie-stalker-club!
I like how the repetition adds to the meaning of the poem. The rhyme scheme works really well, and conveys the power in the poem very well [even though the third stanza doesn't quite follow the same scheme as the other three]

And the Author said, "Let there be Fanfiction." And there was Fanfiction. And the Author beheld the Fanfiction and saw that it was good. And thus saith the Author, "Aww, NaruHina is so delicious!"

Despite the past mistakes, I'm still going to lay my heart out to the wind to see were it takes me
